With the arrival of the gantry robot in the next months SAM|XL has selected Siemens for designing the control system of the large gantry robot. Special about this control system is that it not only satisfy the extreme accuracy, but it is also ‘low level’ accessible for R&D manufacturing processes. This feature makes this the perfect control system for developing automation processes. We are happy to be working on the development of the large gantry robot, allowing the SAM|XL community to work with actual size robots!
